v It is a good idea to create folders in your outlook contacts where you can store the username and password for each account created.

I. Discovery Streaming Education

If you already have a Discovery Ed account but need to update your campus:

Teachers are able to update their own accounts and may choose their own campuses.

• Log-in to Discover Streaming Education (http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com )

• Click on your name in the top right of the screen

• Scroll down to the section titled “School/Organization Information”

o Click the “Not Your School” link

o Enter the campus passcode (ask your librarian if you don’t know it) in the box that

o Click “submit” in the box that appears

• Check the box with the statement about reviewing profile information

• Click “Submit” for the entire page

If you have never created a Discovery Streaming account:

Ø Go to http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com

Step 1. Enter the KCHS 8-digit Passcode (9AB9-78FD)

Step 2. Create your own username and password, then log in with your username and password.

Step 3. Log in with your newly created username and password.

II. Atomic Learning

Ø Go to Atomic Learning at www.atomiclearning.com

Step 1. Enter your username and password as follows:

Step 2. Username: your full KISD email address: ex:

Password: klein

Step 3. Click on the link to “My Account” at the bottom of the blue welcome box then Change your password from “klein” to a new password you’ve created. You should see the message, “Account Successfully Updated” and you’re ready to begin.

Step 4. Click on the link that takes you back to the home page (the word HOME under the Atomic Learning Logo).

Step 5. Type your question in the search box or browse through the tutorials.

III. netTrekker

*If you have forgotten your username, submit a Help Desk ticket requesting your netTrekker username.*

Retrieving Forgotten Passwords

• Click on the “Login” button at the top right of the screen

• Click the “Forgot password” link in the box that appears

• Enter your username, and click submit

• A security question will be asked

o Answers are case sensitive

o Click submit

• A temporary password will be given to you on the screen

o Copy it exactly as it appears

o Click the “Done” link

o Login again using your username and the temporary password

• When the homepage appears, click on your name in the top right corner

o Click “profile”

o Click the “Change Password” link, create the new password and click “save”
