The Country Club at The Highlands located in Chesterfield, VA just 30 minutes south of Richmond, VA. The Club was established in 2002 as a privately owned Country Club with a membership of 480. Amenities include an 18 hole Golf Course, Full Service Golf Pro-Shop, practice putting green, driving range and snack bar. The Clubhouse includes dining facilities for member dining and private parties seating 250 people. The Members’ Grille offers casual dining with 2 large TV’s and Bar. The Club’s 19th Hole Bar includes a projection screen TV, Bar, Pool Tables and card tables. The Club also has a large covered outdoor pavilion for member and private events of up to 250 people.

Qualifications:
The Dining Room Supervisor works closely with the Club Manager, Director of Events and the Executive Chef, and is responsible for the supervision of all day to day general operations and the overall service experience at the Club. The position directly supervises all servers, hostesses, bartenders, and banquet servers. He/she will ensure that the highest standards are met for food, beverage and other services.
The Dining Room Supervisor will report directly to the Club Manager. It is essential that the Dining Room Supervisor be a polished, articulate professional who has a thorough understanding of food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, energetic and self motivated professional with a proven and stable record of food and beverage excellence at a private club, restaurant or hotel.
The position requires a motivated team player that is an organized, detail oriented person with a flexible personality and excellent people skills that can successfully interact with members and staff and create a diverse and unique dining experience to the members and their guests.
Extensive wine and beer knowledge is a plus. Must also be proficient in all Microsoft applications, and POS experience is an added advantage. He/she must be able to work extended hours including weekends and holidays.
The Dining Room Supervisor shall be a hands on, confident and proactive team builder who has a history of attracting, training and developing as well as retaining a high performance staff. The candidate would preferably have at least 5 years experience in food and beverage service.
Salary:
Compensation will depend on experience and will include the Club’s standard benefits and perks.
