Design your Dream Bedroom!!
Imagine you could decorate your bedroom anyway you wanted. It could be a cozy retreat, a funky and modern pad, or an entertainment paradise.
Here are the rules:
1. You have $3000.00 to spend and you cannot go over your budget.
2. You have to keep track of these things when selecting items for your room:
a. The website you located the product on.
b. The description of the product
c. The PRICE!!
3. Your room is 10’ x 12’ and you need to keep that in mind when looking at paint or flooring.
4. You can buy anything you want, however, you will have buy these things for your room first:
a. Bedding (comforters, sheets, pillows)
b. Paint or wallpaper (remember your room is 10’ x 12’ and you will need to determine how much of this item you will need)
c. Flooring (carpet, hardwood, rugs, laminate, etc., remember your room is 10’ x 12’ and you will need to determine how much of this item you will need)
d. At least one large piece of furniture. (bed, entertainment cabinet, dresser, etc.)
5. You will create a basic spread sheet that will keep track of your expenses. The columns will have the following titles:
a. Item
b. Vendor
c. Description
d. Price
e. Total
Your spreadsheet should begin like this:

Beginning Balance / $3000.00
(First item) / (website) / (product description) / ($xx.xx) / (Formula)

If you know of somewhere else you can find what you need that is fine, too. Make sure you list where go.
Some things to do:
1. Merge and center the title of your project “My Dream Bedroom Budget Sheet” and make the font size bigger than the rest of your text.
2. Bold the column headings.
3. Insert an appropriate picture making sure it does not cover up any of the text or numbers in your spreadsheet.
4. Insert a formula that takes your original budgeted amount and shows a running total of what you have left over after each item you purchase.
5. When you print the spreadsheet, make sure everything fits on one page.
6. Format the spreadsheet with borders around each cell.
