Decision Making Assignment Topic ________________________

We are going to work on the skill of informed and intelligent decision making. Each decision making assignment hits on an important piece of the curriculum and gives details of real situations that occurred.

OUR GOAL: Our goal is to systematically arrive at the most informed and well thought out decision possible. The specific focus of each decision making activity that we do may change, but in general, we will always be trying to do the following: 1. Clarify and identify the details involved in the Problem. 2. Identify potential questions that we need to Ask to try to get a better understanding of where the Problem fits in the context of historical events. Also, we should look for and Ask if there are historical analogies that may help us to arrive at a decision. 3. Clarify the Goal(s) that the decision maker has or should have when arriving at a decision. 4. Predict the potential Effects that the decision may lead to.
