Re: In-use Heavy-duty Vehicles and Heavy-Duty Mobile Equipment based in California Engine Data Survey
Dear Government Agency Representative:
As explained in the California Air Resources Board letter dated January 2, 2002, TIAX LLC (formerly Arthur D. Little) has been selected to collect data concerning your heavy-duty vehicles and heavy-duty mobile equipment. The attached forms were designed to facilitate the process.
In the first page of Fleet Information form you are asked to provide general information on your fleet, its activities, and terminal locations. The table on the second page of the form requires an input for each heavy-duty vehicle (>8,500 GVWR) or mobile equipment (>50HP) in your fleet. This does not include emergency vehicles, school buses, waste haulers, or transit buses. Please make as many copies of this form as is necessary to inventory your entire fleet. The third page of the form contains explanations of the data required for each column in the table.
The Contractor/Vendor List should be used to list the contact information of all the private firms you currently contract with for projects and services such as road construction or other transportation-related services.
