Welcome back to the 3rd Annual Young Life Cornhole Classic Tournament! We are excited to announce that this year’s tournament will be held at the Callaway Memorial Clocktower (on the corner of Truitt St and Fourth Ave in LaGrange) on Sunday afternoon, April 17th at 2pm. We hope you will consider being a sponsor of our event and that you will participate with your very own team.
For those of you who may not be familiar with Young Life, we are a Christian ministry that reaches out to middle school, high school and college-aged kids in all 50 of the United States as well as more than 70 countries around the world. Young Life's mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. This happens when caring adults build genuine friendships and earn the right to be heard with their young friends. We believe in the power of presence. Kids' lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God's love with them. Because their Young Life leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose. Our approach is relational. We go where kids are in order to build friendships with them and earn the right to make a positive impact on their lives. We want them to know that they are loved and valued.
Young Life is a non-profit organization, funded through the donations of individuals, foundations and businesses. The overwhelming majority of funding for Young Life ministry comes from individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of kids in their communities.
You can help through participation, support and sponsorship outlined below. The sponsorship deadline is March 15th, 2016. A large portion of your donation is tax deductible.
