Elizabeth City Pasquotank Public Schools, Elizabeth City, North Carolina Responsibilities include: Provides leadership for short- and long-range planning for all technology initiatives: vision, goals, program objectives, infrastructure, staffing, training, evaluation, budgeting, and collaboration with others that supports NC Digital Teaching and Learning Plan. Plans, develops, and implements staff development activities to meet established instructional technology integration learning goals and the North Carolina Educator Technology Competencies licensure renewal. Completes E-Rate applications for funds to ensure affordable access to high-speed broadband sufficient to support digital learning in the schools and high density Wi-Fi connectivity.

Responsible for Home Base and SchoolNet implementation. This service provides portals for students, teachers, parents, and school and district administrators to access data.

Supervises the AMTR (Annual Media Technology Report) inventory of technology

assets.

Assists technology users in resolving problems associated with ordering, service,

and support. Serves as a clearinghouse of information on trends, research,

applications, and effective practices related to the use of technology in the school program and school system.
