County Administrator Login New Interface Guide

I. County Home

Click the Home Icon at the top of the page to return to your home page as you navigate the website.

Usage Summary-All Schools

· You have the ability to filter by school and specific date ranges.

· If you select a school from the dropdown box, then you will see the school usage broken down by teachers.

Assessment Summary

· By changing View from Usage Summary to Assessment Summary, you can see a list of prompts completed by the students at all schools or each school.

· You can select a particular school and then select a particular teacher at the school to view more details for the Assessment Summary.

· Click on the Blue Icon beside the Assessment Name, and you will see the names of the students who are assigned the particular prompt.

· In View Assignment, you can see a list of students at the school or in the county who have been assigned the prompt and the status of the assignment.

II. Enrollment

· Click on the Enrollment Tab. This page allows you to see the number of teachers, classes, and students at each school in your county.

III. Assessments

· Click on the Assessments Tab. You can Manage Assessments and Create a New Assessment on the Assessments page. If you click on the dropdown box beside Assessment Folder, you can drill down to particular folders. Note: county, school, and teacher users cannot edit or delete WV WESTEST2 Online Writing Practice Prompts or WV Writing Roadmap 2.0 Prompts.

· If you create county-level prompts, then you can edit or delete them.

· Click on the Create a New Assessment Tab to create county-level writing prompts. County-level prompts can be viewed and assigned by all teachers in the county.

· Follow the four steps if you want to create a county-level prompt.

IV. Assignments

· Click on the Assignments Tab to make a county-level prompt assignment. Note: If you make county-level assignments, then schools and teachers will not be able to make changes to these assignments. You will have to make any changes, such as students being added to the assignment or if you need to alter prompt due dates. Consider this before you make county-level assignments. From this page, you can Manage Assignments, Create a New Assignment, and Score Items by clicking on the appropriate tabs.

V. Reports

· Click on the Reports Tab to access county-level reports. You can generate Data Mining reports, County reports, and School reports. The My Reports tab is where PDFs are generated when you run the reports. These reports are the same ones that were available in the old administrator site.

VI. Tools

· Click on the Tools Tab to Manage Users, Export Data, and Import Data. To create a new teacher at a school click on New User.

· You will then fill in the User Information, select the School, and the User Rights. Click Save when you are finished.
