Community Table Tennis Coach job opportunity

The ETTA in partnership with other local groups is creating a part time coaching post within the St Austell area of Cornwall with the aim of achieving more young members of Table Tennis clubs.

If you are an outgoing, energetic type who can relate well to young people and inspire them, we look forward to hearing from you!

Ideally we need an ETTA qualified coach, but a suitable candidate without ETTA qualifications would be considered and would be required to take an ETTA Coaching Award.

The appointed person will:

· Encourage young people to take part in Table Tennis at schools, clubs and in other community settings

· Work closely with St Austell Table Tennis Club

· Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with young people

· Develop sustainable school club links

· Be flexible with their working patterns

Job details:

Part-time: 10 hours per week - One year contract – Start Date 1st May 2008

Salary: Grade G £17k - £18k pro rata dependent on experience
