Change your WebBBS Submitter password in PES (required every 90 days)

NOTE: The password you use to open the PES Software is not affected by these instructions. These instructions apply only to your Submitter ID Password.

We recommend you change your password every 60 days when you receive the password expiry alert. You will not be able to submit transactions with an expired password. If you let your password expire, the reset process will delay your billing.

Change your WebBBS Submitter password in PES at TOOLS/OPTIONS/BATCH.

Definitions

1. Web Logon ID – Your Submitter ID for WebBBS submissions.

2. Web Password – Your password for WebBBS submissions.

3. Entity Type Qualifier – The person or corporation sending electronic submissions.

4. Submitter Last/Org Name – The last name or organization name of the submitter.

5. Submitter First Name – The first name of the person submitting data.

6. Contact Phone # – The contact number of person or organizations sending data.

Using the Provider Portal to change a WebBBS Submitter Password

If you allow your password to expire, you must use the Forgot Password link from the Provider Portal to reset your password.

1. Go to the Medicaid website, click Provider, click HIPAA and then click Submitter Self Service Area.

2. Enter your MC Submitter ID and your current secure password and click LOG IN.

3. Select the Change Password tab.

4. In the New Password field, enter your new secure password. In the Confirm Password field, re-enter your new secure password. Click Submit.

If you forget your password, you must call our EDI department to reset (1.800.457.4454 or 501.376.2211 option 300).
