Facility / LSU Natatorium, site of the 1985 National Sports Festival, home of LSU Swimming and Diving, home of Tiger Aquatics. Indoor 50-meter pool of constant depth of 7 feet with non-turbulent lane lines, Paragon starting blocks, Daktronics Timing System with electronic multimedia digital Scoreboard. A 6 or 8 lane 25-yard pool open for warm-up & warm-down during each session.
Timing System / Daktronics: Primary timing system will be electronic touchpads. Secondary timing system will be electronic pushbuttons with stopwatch backups.
Meet Format / Timed Finals as listed in Sessions sections.
All event heats will be swum slowest to fastest.
Psych sheet will be posted at www.swimtaq.com on or before July 1, 2010.
Heats may be combined at the Referee’s decision. Please notify Meet Administration of any advance scratches.

The Psych Sheet will be posted online, www.swimtaq.com, on the Thursday before the meet.
Entry Information / All entries must be submitted in Short Course Yards times using Hy-tek’s Team Manager software.
Electronic entry files shall be sent by email. A hard copy of entries shall be submitted in addition to electronic file in order to guarantee entry.
A Meet Entry Form must also be submitted with payment (last page of this document).
A complete team roster shall be submitted with entries (including swimmers that are not participating in the City Meet) in order to assist with determining divisions for team scoring. See Team Scoring section.
Entry Fees / All entry fees must be paid prior to start of meet.
$6.00 per swimmer

The Summer Swim League Championship Meet will have 2 separate divisions:
1. Summer League Division
2. USS Division
A USS Swimmer is one who meets either of the following criteria:
a. Has paid for or compensated any USS organization (team) for a minimum of two quarters tuition (6 months) beginning September 1 of the previous year
b. Has competed in more than 2 USS-sanctioned competitions after January 1 of the current year
Separate events shall be offered for USS and Summer League swimmers. Summer League swimmers may participate in USS events. USS events are limited to a maximum of 2 Summer League swimmers. However, USS swimmers may NOT participate in Summer League events. Participating swimmers must be members of teams belonging to the Bayou Swim League, River Cities Swim League, or Southside Swim League.
USS Relays must consist of at least 1 USS swimmer (age criteria below applies).
Age Determination:
USS Swimmer: age as of July 6, 2010, the first day of the meet.
Summer League Swimmer: age as of June 1st, 2010
A swimmer’s final Summer Swim League Championship meet shall be during the summer following graduation from high school.

EMS and lifeguards will be present while the meet is in session in case of emergency.
Deck Referees and Safety Marshals have complete authority over warm-up procedures at all times.
Warm-up times and lane usage will be assigned based on approximate number of entries per team per session.
Swimmers attending the meet without a coach must report to the Meet Director to be assigned a coach for warm-up prior to each session.
Team Warm-up Lane Assignments will be posted on our website, www.swimtaq.com, on the Monday before the meet and will be posted around the LSU Natatorium during the meet.
Lane Timers / EACH TEAM WILL NEED TIMERS! LANE TIMING ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE POSTED ON TUESDAY JUNE 29TH, 2009.
Individual Event Scoring / USS Individual events will be scored:
16 – 14 – 12 – 10 – 8 – 6 – 4 – 2 for 1st – 8th place
Summer League individual events will be scored:
20 – 17 – 16 – 15 – 14 – 13 – 12 – 11 – 9 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 for 1st – 16th place.
Relays (both USS and Summer League will be scored double:
40 – 32 – 28 – 24 – 18 – 12 – 8 – 4 1st – 8th place.
Team Scoring / For purposes of team scoring, meet director shall determine three team divisions after the entry deadline and before the start of the meet. Team size shall be determined by number of swimmers on each team’s roster for the entire summer. Therefore, if a swimmer competes in a league meet but does not compete in the City Meet, they must still be included on the team roster.

USS Relay: 1st – 3rd medals, 4th – 8th ribbons
Summer League Individual: 1st – 8th medals, 9th – 16th ribbons
Summer League Relays: 1st – 3rd medals, 4th – 8th ribbons
Team: 1st – 3rd for each division
Al Robelot Team Quality Award: Team with highest number of points per swimmer in individual events only (number of points divided by number of swimmers entered in meet)
Meetings / Coaches: Tuesday, 4:00pm, Wednesday & Thursday as needed & will be announced.
Timers: 15 minutes before the start of each session
Heat Sheets & Results / Meet programs (heat sheets) will be available for sale $3.00 per session.
Complete Meet Results available for $8.00 per copy.
Individual Results available for $3.00 per individual copy.
Hy-tek Real Time results will be available throughout the meet online at www.swimtaq.com.
Final Results will be posted within 3 days after the conclusion of the meet.

SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE NATATORIUM.
Please note that all diving equipment present on deck is the property of LSU Swimming and Diving and is completely off limits to all meet participants.
Each team is responsible for cleaning up their area. Trash receptacles are provided.
There is absolutely NO parking in the grass field between the front of the Natatorium and Nicholson Drive. Parking is available by the tennis courts and in front of track field. If there is any question about where you may park please ask the meet administration.
NO GLASS CONTAINERS ON DECK. NO FOOD ON DECK.
Only meet officials are allowed inside the roped off areas next to the pool. Participant/spectator seats shall not be placed adjacent to the roped off areas in such manner that blocks walkways.
Concessions & Hospitality / Concessions will be provided by BTAC. Hospitality will be available to coaches and officials. Wrist bands will be distributed to coaches and officials for hospitality and must be presented in order to receive food & beverages from hospitality.
