Boxed Poem Assignment

Name:______Period:______Score ______

For the poetry unit you will be required to write four poems. You need to choose a horizontal or vertical row of boxes, which will describe the assignments that you need to work on. All aspects of the assignment described must be in your poem to get credit for it. Make sure that you check the little boxes of the poems you have completed and label each poem with the title from this sheet. All poems will be due at the end of the poetry unit.

One of your four boxed poems must be written in cursive; the rest may be hand written or typed. There is an optional cursive packet for those who need guidance; if you turn in a cursive poem that’s illegible, the cursive packet will be required.
