Bar Graphs and Climate

Bar graphs are useful tools when comparing data values. For example, the bar graph below compares the average yearly rainfall in various climate zones. To create a bar graph, first create an empty box. Then begin on the x-axis by labeling the bar positions with the names of the items you want to compare, in this case the climate zones. Label the y-axis with numbers in the increments of measurement, in this case 0 to 250 cm. Finally, draw the bars on your chart to represent data.
