Water Cycle Project
Dear parents,
We are studying the water cycle in science. To help students develop an understanding of each step of the water cycle, students are to create a representation of the water cycle. Your child may create a diorama, powerpoint presentation, 3D poster, mobile, or any other project he/she chooses that meets the criteria. *Please note: this project is to be 3 dimensional or technological. A simple drawing will not suffice. Be as creative as you like!
Possible art mediums (materials): Materials found around the house can be used. For example, plastic/paper bags, boxes, cotton balls, yarn, jars, beads, sponges
*At least two art mediums must be used.
Students must label the project with the correct parts of the water cycle. They must show the sun, evaporation, condensation, and precipitation and show the never-ending path that water takes through the cycle. Use chapter 3 of your science book to help you. The due date for this project is Friday, October 30th. Please see attached rubric for further directions and expectations for the project.
The results are amazing. Have fun!
