· Address the following: In addition to WritePointSM and the Plagiarism Checker, what other

resources are available at the CWE? There is the Grammar Tutorial, Thesis Generator, Essay Development, and other samples, tutorials, and guides. What information do these other resources provide? They provide samples of outlines and bibliographies as well as information on essay writing and creating a thesis. There is also information on grammar and how to avoid plagiarism.

· Identify which two online resources may be most useful in building your own writing

skills. Explain your answer.

All of the grammar information will benefit me because it is something that I can always improve on. With writing papers grammar is very important and if I can learn from the online resources on how to improve my grammar then it will help me out tremendously. The other resource would be the WritePoint because it seems to work very well in finding any mistake that is made in our writings. From grammar to too much space in between a word, the WritePoint would really help me as I am progressing in college.

· Use the instructions in Appendix C to submit your Week One CheckPoint for a

WritePointSM and Plagiarism Checker review at the CWE. Then, address the following

points about the feedback you receive:

o What feedback did you receive from the CWE? I received feedback on my checkpoint about two words that should have been typed as one, and also a space in between a number and percentage sign that should not have been there. As for the plagiarism, nothing was found.

o What surprised you about this feedback? It didn’t really surprise me. It found two things that I would not have found, so I can say that I was surprised that it was this precise. I didn’t expect anything to come up with the plagiarism.

o What is most valuable to you regarding this feedback? The most valuable thing would be that space in between the number and percentage sign, because Microsoft Word did not pick that up so I would have never realized there was a space there that did not belong. This made me want to use this anytime I write something, just to double check.
