Portfolio of Infusions® Translucent Design Options
New additions include wall panels, dimensional lay-in
designs, and infill panels for Wings™ ceiling clouds
Armstrong Ceiling & Wall Systems has expanded its Infusions® portfolio of translucent design options with the addition of new wall panels, dimensional designs for lay-in ceiling panels, and infill panels for Wings ceiling clouds.
All of the new additions help accent and define a space by introducing color and texture quickly and easily. The availability of the new translucent panels also provides opportunities to allow lighting to play more of an integral role in the design of the space.
Because of their ability to add drama and vibrancy to a space, the new additions offer an ideal way to add visual interest to many high visibility areas, including hospitality, retail, and transportation applications as well as lobbies and entryways in commercial buildings.
Infusions Wall Panels Offered in 41 Patterns, Colors
New Infusions Walls are offered in 41 colors and patterns that coordinate with a broad range of interior finishes, as well as with Infusions Accent Canopies, Partition panels, and
Lay-in ceiling panels and Armstrong SoundScapes® Acoustical Clouds and Canopies.
Manufactured with a minimum of 40% post-consumer recycled content and recyclable at the end of their service life, the quarter-inch-thick translucent PETG panels are 2' x 8' in size with custom cutting and larger panels up to 4' x 8' available. Each panel is factory-drilled to accept Point Support hardware contained in a pre-packaged installation kit.
Dimensional Designs for Lay-in Panels Create New Ceiling Visual
The addition of three new dimensional designs to the Infusions line of Lay-in Panels offer designers translucent panels that transmit light, especially backlight, in an entirely different way to create a whole new ceiling visual.

The new panels are available in three patterns – Splash, which has a bubbly look, and Large Beads and Small Beads, both of which have the look of retro circles. All three designs are offered in five colors, integrated with the Infusions family.
The durable, impact-resistant lay-in ceiling panels are available in 1' x 4' and 2' x 2' sizes and install quickly and easily in standard 9/16" or 15/16" suspension systems. They can also be used in the Armstrong line of Formations™ ceiling clouds.
Translucent Infill Panels for Wings Accent Clouds
Yet another addition to the Infusions line is translucent infill panels for use in the Armstrong line of Wings accent clouds. The new panels are offered in six standard colors
and feature a honeycomb core for rigidity.
Wings accent clouds impart a unique three-dimensional look and consist of a center spine with multiple panels extending from it at a slight angle. Each of the panels is 2'x 4' in size, and attaches along the spine on a single plane for a clean look from below. The cloud
is suspended from above at minimal points along the spine.
Wings clouds are fast and easy to install because they ship in two kits, a panel kit and
a suspension kit. Wings are available in 8' x 10' sizes for ceiling installations and 4' x 10' for wall–mount installations.
The Infusions line of translucent design options includes 56 colors, 33 patterns and 23 solids. It is the only Class A fire-rated line of translucent panels that also passes the Building Code drop out test. For additional information, visit armstrong.com/infusions.
