The scholarship available for a student is a monthly meeting card which covers the costs to attend meetings from August through May.

To qualify for a 2017-2018 MPI MN Educational Scholarship all applicants must meet the criteria listed below. The criteria will be evaluated on a point system. The applicant who receives the most points will be awarded a full or partial scholarship to which they are applying.

The MPI MN Scholarship Committee will review all applications, select the winners, and present to the VP of Strategic Alliances. All information will be held in the strictest of confidence. Selected scholarship recipients will be announced at the May Awards Gala.

The MPI MN Scholarship Judging Committee will consist of the following active members: one past president, one CMP member, one CMM member and one past scholarship recipient. This committee is chaired by Dianna Fuller, CMP, CMM.

Requirements:

· Complete and submit an Educational Scholarship application form no later than Friday April 20, 2018.

· Be an active MPI member in good standing.

· Scholarship recipient must agree to write an article for MPI MN’s Weekly Pulse.

· Include at least one letter of recommendation from a client, a professional business associate, a mentor, teacher or a supervisor. This letter may not be from another student or co-worker.

· All scholarships awarded must be redeemed in the upcoming 2018/2019 fiscal year.

· Provide a one paragraph description of yourself. Total Possible Points 2

· List all MPI sponsored meetings attended within the fiscal year of July 2017 – April 2018 with a few brief bullet point descriptions of your key take-aways. Total Possible Points 10
