Students will be able to create a PowerPoint presentation summarizing information about a famous photographer as well as showing multiple examples of the photographer’s work.
Photographer’s Profile Project - PowerPoint Presentation Guidelines
INFORMATION
All of the bulleted information must be covered in your presentation.
· Student’s full name, block, and date
· Full name of artist
· Date and place of birth of artist
· How the artist was influenced-by circumstances and/or others in field of photography
· Awards, fellowships, grants, accomplishments, etc.
· Typical subject matter of photographs made by this artist
· Typical style of work
· Geographic places this photographer shot
· Significant contribution(s) to photography (or the art world)
· What they said/say about their own work (quotes OK)
· What others have said about the work
· A succinct explanation of your opinion of the photographer’s work.
PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS
ü Select a layout, design, background, and font for your presentation.
ü Every slide should have relevant information and/or an image that students write about in the slide or verbally explain.
ü Information and imagery should be presented chronologically if possible.
ü Between 8-10 photographic examples of the photographer’s work must be in the presentation.
ü The final presentation should be 15-25 slides.
ü Final presentations will be shared through Google Drive
ü You will be presenting your Photographer’s Profile to the class. Presentation should last 5 minutes.
CREDITING YOUR SOURCES
ü Create an informal bibliography on the last slide of your presentation with a list of the websites you used for information and sites used for photographs.
