This New User Guide covers the initial set up and creation of a new account as well as Administration activities.

Create a new account

All new users will need to create an account to use eBIMAP2.

  1. Click on Create Account
  1. Complete your personal and organization information.
  1. Enter the security code.

a.  You can request a new picture for the security code by clicking on the refresh button.

b.  To hear the security code click on the volume button.

  1. Click on Submit
  1. You will receive an email to verify your account. This email will be sent to the email address you nominated in Personal information. Click on the link and a new Internet window will open.
  1. In the new Internet window enter the User Name or email address and password you created. Once complete click on Log In.
  1. You have now successfully created a new account for eBIMAP2. You will now see the dashboard.

From this dashboard you can view:

·  Notifications – emailed sent by Brisbane City Council to inform users of events eg: planned outages. You will still receive an email to your registered email address.

·  Subscription history – snapshot of your subscriptions including, expiry date

·  User name options – update your details, change profile picture, change password or logout.

·  My subscriptions – detailed view of your subscription history.

Email activation

Email Activation is used to verify your registered email address is correct. This can be used at any time after registering your account.

  1. Click on Email Activation
  1. You will be prompted to enter your email address. Please use the email address you registered with and then click submit.
  1. Once you click submit a confirmation window will appear. Click on ok.
  1. You will receive an eBIMAP2 account email activation email. Click on the link and a new Internet window will open.

You will now see “Your email address is successfully confirmed” above the User Name box. This confirms that your email address is correctly registered and activated within eBIMAP2.

  1. You can now log in using your user name or email address and password

Forgotten Password

You no longer need to contact Brisbane City Council to have your password reset. You can manage your Password and Personal Details within eBIMAP2

1.  Click on Forgot password.

2.  A new window will open up; you will be prompted to enter your email address. Please use the email address you registered with and then click submit.

  1. If you don’t know the email address you registered with please call the Brisbane City Council Contact Centre 07 3403 8888.

3.  Once you click submit a confirmation window will appear. Click on ok.

4.  You will receive an eBIMAP2 password reset email. Click on the link and a new Internet window will open.

5.  You can now create a new password. Enter your new password, confirm your password and click on Submit.

You have now successfully recreated your password and will be logged into the Dashboard.

User Profile Options

My Settings (change email address or username)

You no longer need to contact Brisbane City Council to change your registered details eg: email address. You can manage your email address, Personal Details and Organization details within eBIMAP2.

1.  Log in using your User name or Email address and password

2.  Click on the User Name button, located in the top right hand side of your screen.

3.  Click on My Settings. This will open a new window. Name, Surname and Email address are all prefilled with your current registered details.

Upate the required details and click Save.

4.  A confirmation will appear in the bottom right hand side of your screen. Your registered details have now been changed.

Adding or Changing your Profile Picture

eBIMAP2 allows you to add a Profile Picture, this is not mandatory and is not shared with other users.

1.  Click on the User Name button, located in the top right hand side of your screen.

2.  This will show options, click on the second option Change Profile Picture. This will open a new window, click on Choose File.

3.  Select the picture you wish to use. Please note: You can only select a JPG/JPEG file with a maximum 30KB size. Click on Save. Your new Profile picture will appear in the top right hand corner of your screen.

Your new Profile picture is now visible to you on your Dashboard.

Change Password

1.  Click on the User Name button, located in the top right hand side of your screen.

2.  This will show 3 options, click on the third option Change Password.

3.  This will open a new window. Enter your current password, new password details and click save.

4.  A confirmation will appear in the bottom right hand side of your screen. Your password has now been changed.

Paying your Subscription

Subscription - Daily, Weekly or Monthly options

eBIMAP2 continues as subscription service. To enable access to the eBIMAP2 web viewer you will need to have an active subscription.

1.  Click on Services located on the top left hand side of your screen.

2.  To select the Subscription you wish to purchase click on Purchase underneath the icon. This process refers to the Daily, Weekly and Monthly subscription options.

  1. Daily, Weekly and Monthly Subscription periods are Credit Card only purchases. Brisbane City Council accepts Master Card and Visa.

3.  A Terms and Conditions window will open. Once you have read and understood the terms and conditions click on the button next to “I accept the license agreement” and click on Continue.

4.  This will take you to the Brisbane City Council Payment Service. You will need to select the type of Credit Card you wish to use, by clicking on the MasterCard or Visa icon.

  1. The reference number and Amount will be prefilled based on your registered details and the subscription period selected. Please take note of your reference number for your records.

5.  Enter your card details to proceed. Once complete click on Proceed.

6.  Once your payment completes you will receive a payment confirmation notice. Close this window to return to your Dashboard (this is subject to your internet settings; you may need to re-log into eBIMAP2).

7.  Your subscription will appear on your Dashboard. You can now access your eBIMAP2 subscription by clicking on Launch.

8.  A loading screen may appear, please do not refresh your internet window.

Once eBIMAP2 has loaded you can access the built in help menu by clicking on the help icon.

9.  To access the tool bar click on the Tool Bar icon in the top right hand corner of the map.

Subscription – Yearly option – Credit Card

This process refers to the Yearly subscription option paid for via Credit Card.

Yearly Subscriptions offer:

·  Credit card or cheque payment methods

·  Request for quotes

·  Request for invoice

·  These are available under the Options button.

1.  To select the Subscription you wish to purchase click on Purchase underneath the subscription type icon.

2.  A Terms and Conditions window will open. Once you have read and understood the terms and conditions click on the button next to “I accept the license agreement” and click on Continue.

3.  This will take you to the Brisbane City Council Payment Service. You will need to select the type of Credit Card you wish to use, by clicking on the MasterCard or Visa icon.

Subscription – Yearly option – Cheque

This process refers to the Yearly subscription option, paid for via cheque.

Yearly Subscriptions offer:

·  Credit card or cheque payment methods

·  Request for quotes

·  Request for invoice

·  These are available under the Options button.

1.  To pay via cheque click on the Options button.

2.  Select pay by cheque. This will load a PDF, on the bottom task bar of your internet window (dependent on internet browser settings)

3.  Click on the PDF document, it will open in another window (dependent on internet browser settings)

4.  Check the details are correct and follow the instructions included in the eBIMAP2 Subscription – Cheque payment document.

5.  Once your payment has been processed you receive an email to your registered email address and your subscription will appear on your Dashboard. You can now access your eBIMAP2 subscription by clicking on Launch.

Subscription – Yearly option – Request a quote

The request a quote option is available to provide quotes to organizations requiring multiple yearly subscriptions.

1.  Click on Services on the left hand side of the Dashboard.

2.  Under yearly subscription click on Options and select Request quote (second option)

3.  Select the number of licenses you require and click on Send Quote Request.

4.  A pop up box will confirm your request has been sent. A price will be provided via return email.

Subscription – Yearly option – Request an invoice

The request an invoice option is available to provide invoices to organizations requiring multiple yearly subscriptions.

1.  Click on Services on the left hand side of the Dashboard.

2.  Under yearly subscription click on Options and select Request Invoice (third option)

3.  A pop up box will confirm your request for an invoice has been sent. An invoice will be provided via return email.

Check the status of your Subscription

You can now check the status of your subscription at any time. You will continue to receive reminders to your registered email address when your subscription is due for renewal.

There are two options for viewing your subscription status.

1.  Option 1 - Your Subscription History is available on your Home Page Dashboard.

2.  Option 2 - click on My Subscriptions.

3.  This will open a new window; you can now view the status of your current and previous subscriptions including Start and End Dates.

Check the status of your subscription – Generate GST receipt

1.  To generate a GST invoice click on My Subscriptions menu option from your dashboard.

2.  Click on the download/cloud button on the left hand side.

3.  A PDF document will appear on the bottom task bar of your internet window (dependent on internet browser settings). Open the document and your GST invoice is available for printing.

Launch eBIMAP2 Web Viewer

1.  Log into eBIMAP2, from the Dashboard you can launch the eBIMAP2 Web Viewer by clicking on launch under your subscription plan.

2.  A Terms and Conditions window will open. Once you have read and understood the terms and conditions click on the button next to “I accept the license agreement” and click on Continue.

3.  A loading screen may appear, please do not refresh your internet window.

4.  Once eBIMAP2 has loaded you can access the built in help menu by clicking on the help icon. To access the tool bar click on the Tool Bar icon in the top right hand corner of the map.

Sign Out

Log out of the Dashboard

1.  When you are logged into the Dashboard you can log out by clicking the User Profile button.

2.  Select option 4 Log Out

3.  This will Log you Out and take you back to the Log In page

Log out of Web Viewer

1.  When you are logged into the Web Viewer you can log out two different ways.

  1. Click on Sign out
  1. Click on the arrow next to Sign Out
  2. Click on Sign Out

2.  Both options will Sign you Out and take you back to the Log In page
