Accessing the AIM Sandbox
Prior to going live with AIM, agencies can access the AIM sandbox – a virtual AIM playground. The sandbox allows agency staff to use AIM’s full functionality in a safe environment without disrupting real agency data. In this environment, staff can utilize different functions such as Customer Relations, Enrollment & Matching, Match Support, and Management. They can manipulate existing data or enter new data and perform various processing functions. The sandbox environment can also be used to demonstrate the AIM system to your agency board members, emphasizing the value of the system to the agency.
Before using the sandbox, users should have completed the AIM online courses (available via the BBBS Learning Center). These courses will provide them with the fundamental concepts and information needed to perform the basic functions in AIM.
To access and use the AIM Sandbox:
- Go to http://aim.bbbs.org/aimconversion.
- When prompted to login, enter:
bbbs\aim.guest (this is the username)
1millionkids (this is the password)
If you have a domain field in the login prompt, then enter the following:
aim.guest (this is the username)
1millionkids (this is the password)
bbbs (this is the domain)
