Place into ENG 111 (Prereq: DRE 098 or RED 090/ENG 090)
Science (Must be completed by March 1st of the admitting year)
If student has high school BIO or CHM class with a
” C” or better, only physics is required. Refer to counselor interview sheet. If this requirement has not been met, then student can complete the below options:
BIO 110-Principles of Biology OR
BIO 111-General Biology I (BIO 112 is optional but BOTH 111/112 are suggested for transfer students) OR
CHM 090 or higher level chemistry class (Prereq: none)
AND
PHY 110-Conceputal Physics & PHY 110A (lab) (Prereq: none) / Note: Must be at the college level.

The deadline is June 1st of the admitting year to complete CNA and listed on the NC Nurse Aide Registry. Applicants holding a diploma or degree in Nursing or an Allied Health profession or Military Corpsman or EMT-Basic or Intermediate certification and currently certified with direct human patient care in a health care environment within the last 5 years, CNA is not required.
