ABSTRACT:Vacuum insulation panel (VIP)is a kind of new type high efficient insulation materialbased on the principle of evacuated insulation. Through enhancing the vacuum degree in panels furthest and filling with nano-materials as core, it can realize heat-insulation effectively. The advent of energy crisis accelerates the development of VIP industry. However, VIP technology still belongs to a new thing relatively in China, and its development is just underway, which result in that VIPs hold at higher price all the while in China. Facing huge market demand potential for the future, relatively higher price and insufficient production capacity is a stumbling block for extensively application of VIP in China. Currently there are only several produce corporations in China, and their limited production capacity can not satisfy great latent consume market requirement. Due to singularity of VIP type, it is difficulty to realize extended application of VIP in various domestic industries and fields. Meanwhile, due to lack of technology investment, the key technology of VIP is not overcome completely yet, and it is imperative to import part raw and processed material, thus leads to a high produce cost. As a result, the primary task of VIP industry in China is to increase technology input, reduce produce cost, enhance produce capability and enlarge extended application. The paper mainly introduces thedevelopment status and application of VIP in China, analyzes some reasons blocking market demand and development of VIP and brings forward some suggestion on sustainable development of VIP industry in China in future.
