Dear Families,
We are very grateful to all the students and their families who participated in our First Annual Walkathon which raised over $11,000. Please note that our aggressive fundraising activities, such as the World’s Finest Chocolate Sale and the Pie sale to name a few, will continue throughout the year and your support and participation is necessary in order for us to meet our expenses.
Also, a big thank you to the Home Academy Association for their leadership and organization for putting together a fun filled Halloween Party event.
Families attended this annual event and had a great time.
The Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for needy residents of Rego Park will take place November 2nd through November 23rd. Please send nonperishable canned food items such as: vegetables, soups, canned fish and meats, juices, pasta, tomato sauce, rice, cereal, powdered milk, coffee, tea, sugar, condiments, and crackers. Thank you for helping to FEED THE HUNGRY.
Finally, it is hard to believe that the last Sunday of the month is the First Sunday of Advent. Please remember to prepare your child for Jesus’ birth during the Advent season.
Sincerely,
Giuseppe F. Campailla
Principal
