Dear Colleague,

On May 29-31, 2015, Community Wellness Associates will be hosting an innovative two-day workshop with Tom Holmes, Ph.D., at the Camp Geneva Retreat Center, on the shores of Lake Michigan north of Holland, Michigan. We invite you to join us for this unique event! To register, please fill out the slip at the bottom of the page, clip it off, and send with a check for $100 as deposit by February 28, 2015

This workshop is designed for therapists who want to integrate the Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach and spirituality into their therapeutic practice. It will also offer therapists an opportunity to work with potential sources of burnout, and to tap into sources of renewal. Throughout the weekend we will be integrating IFS and spiritual practices, using guided imagery, meditation, Dances of Universal Peace, and the Big Mind-inspired “Journey to Self.”

Presenter: Tom Holmes, Ph.D. is Professor Emeritus at Western Michigan University and is a pioneer in the integration of Internal Family Systems work and spirituality. He received training in IFS from Richard Schwartz, the founder of Internal Family Systems Therapy, in the late 1980's and has been teaching, training and practicing IFS since that time.

In recent years his focus has been on burnout prevention: "Healing the Healer" and "Tuning the Heart of the Healer." His workshops integrate Western psychology with Buddhist psychology and the Sufi path of the heart as well as spiritual teachings from Christianity and Judaism.

Tom has offered many seminars in the US and Europe on the integration of IFS and spirituality. His book, "Parts Work: An Illustrated Guide to Your Inner Life," has sold over 20,000 copies in the United States and Europe and has been translated into German, Korean and Italian.

Setting: The Retreat Center at Camp Geneva provides a special, Lake Michigan setting for our workshop. Camp Geneva is located at 3995 Lakeshore Drive N, Holland, MI. There is a community room with a kitchen for refreshments, and a second floor with hotel-like housing, which offers rooms with two queen beds, a private bath, and a balcony or patio. Meals are served across the way at the dining hall in the main lodge. There are dietary accommodations for food allergies, diabetes, gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan preferences and lactose intolerance.

Registration: The workshop will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, and end at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31. You may arrive as early as 3:00 p.m. on Friday. A more complete agenda will be sent in early 2015 to those who register.

Registration is limited to 20 participants and will be offered on a first-come/first-serve basis. If we receive more than 20 requests to participate, we will begin a waiting list.

The cost of the workshop, including tuition, lodging, meals, and snacks is $350 per person. This very attractive pricing assumes double occupancy of the rooms. If you know someone you would like to room with, please indicate their name on the registration slip, below. Otherwise, a roommate will be assigned to you.

Commuter pricing may be made available as we work with the Conference Center. If this option appeals to you, please call Christine Platt at 616-402-8208 to discuss this.

To register, please fill out the slip at the bottom of the page, clip it off, and send with a check for $100 as deposit by February 28, 2015 to:
