Description: / The 1st Annual “9 Oaks Relay Carnival” is open to all ages of swimmers from the Tri-County and Bux-Mont swim leagues. We encourage your attendance at this friendly competition, which provides a great opportunity to end the summer season with a fun, exciting event.
Contribution: / Funds raised will go to the 9 Oaks Swim Team.
Meet Location: / 9 Oaks Swim Club is located at 777 Mennonite Rd., Royersford, PA 19468.
Facilities: / Pool: Six-lane, 25-meter pool with Kiefer lane lines, starting blocks and Daktronics electronic button timing system. Starting end depth varies from 4.5 feet to 5 feet. YMCA teams will swim in lanes with starting-end depths of 5 feet (lanes 5 & 6).
Swimmer Seating: Team areas will be designated once entries are received.
Spectator Seating: Spectators are welcome to bring folding chairs and tents as no chairs will be provided.
Ready Area: Each team is responsible for getting their swimmers to the ready area.
Concessions Area: Refreshments will be available for purchase during the meet.
Parking: Ample parking is available. We ask swimmer families to park on the grassy area behind the pool or in the 9 Oaks parking lot; parking staff will direct traffic. Handicapped parking is available in the main lot.

Please note: During the meet, all questions should be directed to your team coach who will take them to the event director.
Start Times: / 7:00 AM Warm-Up 8:00 AM Meet Start (times may change)
Specific warm up times will be announced once entries are processed.
Eligibility: / Meet is open to swimmers age 5-18. Age as of June 1, 2016 determines age for the competition.
Entries: / The event director reserves the right to limit entries due to time restrictions. Entries will be accepted and processed as they are received.
  • Electronic entries in a Hy-Tek Team Manager entry file, via e-mail, are preferred.
  • Entries sent via e-mail: Send to: . Include with your entry file a Team Manager report by entry. In the body of your e-mail, provide the number of girls, boys and total entries. Include contact info (name, address, phone and cell phone), and number of coaches attending. Send entry check and Meet Summary Form under separate cover.

Entry Limits/Fees: / Each swimmer may swim up to 4relay events.
ENTRY FEE: $15.00 per swimmer flat fee. $5 for each coach, parent, or alumni per event.
Please send ONE check per club payable to “NOST”.
Entry Deadline: / Entry deadline is Monday, July 11th at 5:00 PM, for either electronic Hy-Tek or Team Unify. Late/Deck entries will only be accepted for events with lanes. Entry fees and summary forms must be received by Thursday, July14,at the latest.

27 / *CRESCENDO T-Shirt Relay / A relay consisting of ONE boy and ONE girl from each age group swimming freestyle ONE length longer than the previous age group. Each swimmer must wear a t-shirt when they swim, take it off when they’ve finished their length and pass to the next swimmer to put on.
28 / **GRAND SLAM / One girl and boy from each age group starting at 8 & under all the way up to 18 & under each swimming ONE length of free as fast as they can!

*CRESCENDO T-SHIRT RELAY: A relay consisting of ONE boy and ONE girl from each age group swimming freestyle ONE length longer than the previous age group. In addition, each swimmer must wear a t-shirt for their leg of the race, and pass it to the next swimmer to continue the relay. The coach can choose to swim the girl first or the boy first, thus adding a little strategy to the mix! It would look something like this:

**THE GRAND SLAM: One girl and boy from each age group starting at 8 & under all the way up to 18 & under each swimming ONE length of free as fast as they can!

***Graduated Age Stroke Relays: 9 Oaks only allows diving at one end of the pool. For these relays, the order will be 14, 12, and 10 all swimming 50M, and the 8 and under will go last swimming 25M.
