Calendar - Compassion to Uganda
2017 was a significant year for Compassion Child Sponsor Marg MacGillivray and thirty other sponsors from various parts of Australia, some of whom are featured in this calendar.
They were given the opportunity to visit Uganda, experience five Compassion projects and view for themselves the amazing work that Compassion is doing to enrich the lives of Ugandan children. They also met their sponsored children.
Margaret was inspired by the whole experience to further assist the work of Compassion by publishing this calendar. Proceeds will go towards supporting the work of Compassion in Uganda.

St Albans UC present INSPIRE, a free event for women in our community.
The goal is to spread love among women, develop friendships, create support groups and encourage and empower women to be strong and a blessing to one another. Saturday,

1.00 pm till 5.00 pm. It will include games, singing, fun and door prizes.
The inspirational speaker is Rev. Eseta W. Meneily, with other women sharing their own personal stories.

East Geelong UC present 'Hymns We Love to Sing´- an afternoon of Music and Friendship, Sunday 29 October 2017, with afternoon tea to follow. Commencing at 2.00 pm, gold coin donation.
Clifton Springs Central Baptist present a 'Sign of the Times' seminar. On how Christians relate to the End Times? Speakers will be Enoch Lavender, and Pat Ramsay, with clips of current prophetic developments in the Middle East. Saturday, 28 October, 1.00 pm - 5.00 pm. An offering will be taken and resources available for sale.

Small Change Offering
The small change offering for St Andrew's (September) and St Leonards(October) was $ 175.55
It will be shared between UnitingWorld PNG Water Project and the Road Home Project Geelong.

Portarlington Annual Fete
Portarlington Annual Fete will be held Saturday, 4 November commencing at 9-00am and running'til early PM.Stalls will include:
- garden plants
- home made (craft)
- cakes and
- morning tea
Local church members are asked to contribute items for the various stalls and members of the Linked Congregations and public are invited to attend.
