Amigos en Cristo (Friends in Christ) is a ministry of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod churches of Southwest Florida. We provide spiritual, social and legal services to immigrants of Southwest Florida. Under the direction of Rev. Robert Selle, Amigos en Cristo has helped thousands of immigrants to a better life since its founding in 1997. We have a staff of two full-time, ten part-time and many volunteers who provide a living witness to the love of God in Jesus Christ to the immigrants of Southwest Florida. DR. RICH BIMLER—Amigos Center Master of Ceremonies

Our Lord Jesus knows no bounds. Our faith in Him emboldens us to imagine the unimaginable. Our theme for the 2016 Amigos Center fundraiser event is “What If”. Christian author, public speaker and eternal optimist Dr. Rich Bimler will serve as our Master of Ceremonies. Dr. Bimler brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our event. He is currently serving as the part time Ambassador for Health, Hope, and Aging (AH-HA) for Lutheran Life Communities in Arlington Heights, Ill and Naples, FL. Among many other organizations, he served 15 years as the President and CEO of Wheatridge Ministries, a not for profit providing grant funds to start up many health and human care initiatives in the US and other countries. He has honorary degrees from Concordia University and other educational institutions and was recently selected as one of the top 150 graduates of his alma mater, Valparaiso University. He is the author of 17 books and continues to write, speak, and consult with many agencies and organizations throughout the world. Most importantly, he continues to celebrate life with his 7 grandkids, 3 grown children and his wife, Hazel.
