Prepare hides for processing.

Evidence requirements

1.1Hides are washed to remove unwanted material in accordance with organisational requirements.

Rangeunwanted material includes but is not limited to – blood, preservatives, contamination.

1.2Hides are cooled to company specifications in accordance with organisational requirements.

1.3The operation of washing and cooling equipment and facilities meets organisational requirements.
