Confiteor

Precepts of the Church

1. The faithful are required to attend Mass on all Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.

2. You shall confess your sins at least once a year.

3. You shall receive the Eucharist at least during the Easter season.

4. You shall keep holy the Holy Days of Obligation.

5. You shall observe the designated days of fasting and abstinence.

*6. The faithful also have the duty of providing for the material needs of the Church, according to his/her abilities.

Closing Rosary Prayer

O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life; grant, we beseech Thee, that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Prayer of St. Gertrude the Great

**Our Lord dictated the following prayer to St. Gertrude. Each time it is said, 1,000 Souls from Purgatory are released and go to Heaven. The prayer was later extended to include living sinners as well.**

Eternal Father,I offer You the most precious blood
of thy Divine Son, Jesus,in union with the Masses saidthroughout the world today,for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory,for sinners everywhere,for sinners in the universal Church,for those in my own home,and in my family. Amen.
