7th ANNUAL SHARKS TALENT SHOW PARTICPANT'S INFORMATION LETTER

To: All Talent Show Participants and Parents

From: Talent Show Committee Members

Thank you for participating in the 7th Annual Sharks Talent Show! We have almost 60 kids performing this year either in groups or as individuals. The show is quickly approaching, so carefully read the important show information below. Make sure to give this to your parents.

************MUSIC**************

Let's face it…no one on the talent show committee is or professes to be music professionals. We will do our best to make sure we play your music choice at the time you need it for rehearsals and for the show.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

Submit an original CD or a CD with your music burned on it - 1 cd per group/act. You need to put the

song name, artist's name, the start time and end time for your song plus your name on the case or on a note in the case.

For example: "You Belong To Me By, Taylor Swift start 0.4 - end 2.50." The maximum length which cannot be exceed is 3 minutes. To be fair and respectful to everyone there will be NO exceptions. Modify your routine to fit if necessary.

REHEARSALS:

Tuesday, February 25th from 6 - 8p & Monday, March 3rd from 6 - 8p.

We are hosting two rehearsal dates to allow you the opportunity to make sure your music and placement

on stage is rehearsed. Each act MUST attend one rehearsal. It is important that you come prepared with your finished act to get the most out of your rehearsal time. For those of you in groups, please make sure to coordinate your rehearsal time. We will have the sound system, piano and stage available for participants to practice.

Each participant or group must have his or her music CD and/or any props needed for the performance. We will provide mats. Please sign in when you arrive as stage time will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.
