Today we will be Mixing it Up at Lunch in support of our No Place For Hate school pledge. When you get down to lunch you will receive a number. That number represents the table you will sit at for the day. Come ready to meet other students in your grade and work together to compete for a prize.

7th and 8th grade Girls' Soccer Practice is cancelled today.

Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Fords audition results will be emailed out after school today. Please check your haverfordsd email.

Due to so many wonderful student artists joining us in 6th grade art club on Tuesdays we need to divide the club into separate days to accommodate everyone that has signed up. We will do this alphabetically. Today (Tuesday) will be for students with the last names that begin with A through K and next Tuesday will be for students with the last names that begin with L through Z.

Attention ALL Students: Do you play an instrument such as the guitar, bass or drums? Do you enjoy singing? Would you like to meet other musicians in the school and perform songs in front of an audience? If so, Mr. Huth’s Music Club is the place for you. There will be a brief informational meeting after school today (Tuesday) in room 252. The club is open to all grades.

The second round of 6th grade floor hockey games are right after school today (Tuesday)! Team Green and White play the first game and Team Red and Gray play the second game. Check the updated roster and schedule outside of Mr. Crater's room if you recently signed up.

The HMS cross country teams will travel to Rose Tree Park today (Tuesday) for the Haverford Invitational. The girls will run first at 4PM followed by the boys’ race at 4:30. All members of the HMS community are invited to come out and cheer on the team. All runners should report directly to Gym D this afternoon after changing into their uniform and be ready to board the buses by 3PM. Please see a coach with any questions.

Hello Staff & Students - Red Ribbon Week continues! Make sure you take the time to sign the pledge during your lunch. During homeroom today, we ask that you participate in the door decoration contest to promote this year's YOLO, Drug Free theme. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 most creatively decorated doors per grade. Get Ready for the RED OUT on Friday. YOLO. BE DRUG FREE.

Looking for something fun to do tonight (Tuesday)?! Come to the turf at 7pm to see Miss Hill and the Haverford High School girls' soccer team take on West Chester Rustin in the first round of district playoffs. Come out and show your support! Be sure to wear all white for a WHITE-OUT!!! Tonight at 7pm, right out back on the turf!

Woodwind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble auditions will be held this week. Please see Mr. Gittelman if you do not know your audition date.

Hello All - Tennis will begin tomorrow (Wednesday) @ 3:45-5:15 - Please come ready to play at 3:40- Please return to the connecting corridor at 3:40 for the start of practice. Your options for post school to the start of practice. Go home and come back- Go to the school library and start homework. Go to the public library and start homework. Please return to the connecting corridor at 3:40 for the start of practice. Please meet Mr. Withers in the connecting corridor at 3:45. Please bring a signed permission form with you to start practice. You can obtain a permission form from the 6th grade office. Please wear athletic (Weather appropriate) clothing and sneakers. Please bring a tennis racket if you have one. We look forward to working with each one of you!

French club will meet on Thursday in room 165. All are welcome. See you there.

It is time for our spooktacularphotography club this Thursday. Do not forget to pack your costume, props and face paint to create some fun photos. You may drop off all of your goodies in Ms. Stein's room if they do not fit in your locker.

HMS! Let' help the High School with their 4th Annual Stuff the Bus Diaper Drive. Diapers cost more than $100 per month. 3 out of 10 mothers struggle to afford an adequate supply of dry diapers. With your support, the goal is to stuff a school bus with new diapers to be shared with families in need. All diaper donations will be collected in the 7th Grade office until Wednesday! Please see Mr. Murphy.

Attention spirited and energetic students! We need a few more people to join the FORD FRENZY club. We will have tons of fun going to sporting events and cheering on our fellow FORDS. Please turn in your permission slip to Mrs. Gannon as soon as possible.

All sports equipment, even water bottles, are to be picked up in the main office after school. No one will be personally notified.
