DIRECTIONS TO OPPONENT’S FACILITIES

Ambridge

From Route 60 take the Hopewell Exit and turn onto 151 East. Stay on Route 151 for approximately 4 miles through 5-Points intersection (McDonald’s and CVS at corner) and follow Route 151 to the bottom of the hill where you will come to a “T”. At bottom of hill make left onto Route 51 and go approximately one mile to the Ambridge/Aliquippa Bridge. Make a right onto bridge, and you will come into Ambridge on 11th Street. Make first right onto Kennedy Drive and go a few blocks to Syka Funeral Home and make right onto 8th Street. At traffic light turn right onto route 65 North to Baden. Turn right at first traffic signal after Northern Lights Shopping Center (Exxon Station and Eckerd Drug Store on Corners) onto Conway-Wallrose Road Follow Conway-Wallrose Road for approximately 3 miles to First Street in Economy Borough. (Sign on left points to right indicating Jr. High). Make a right and follow road to schools. Turn left to Jr. High and stay straight for Economy Elementary).

Avella

From Burgettstown to Avella

Route 18 North to Atlasburg turn right onto Cross Creek Road to Main Street in Avella. Turn left at the Uni-Mart to Route 50 East. High School and Athletic Fields are located three miles east of the town of Avella on left.

Avonworth

Take Route 60 to 79 North exiting at Mt. Nebo Rd. Turn right at the exit and follow Mt. Nebo Rd. Turn right at the exit and follow Mt. Nebo Rd approximately 3 miles to the 2nd traffic light. Bear right onto Camp Horne Road and go to the 3rd traffic light making a right turn onto Joseph Lane. School is at the top of the hill to the right.

Belle Vernon

Varsity and JV Baseball

Take Interstate 70 E (Exit 20) (Route 201 South). Go past the Wal-MartPlaza (right) and K-MartPlaza (left). Continue thru next light in residential district. Follow 201 South. You will proceed down a long hill. At the bottom of the hill you will turn right past Robert’s Body Repair Shop. If you go past Crystal Pool, you have gone too far.

Bentworth

From Route 70E, Exit at Bentleyville Exit 12A. After stop sign go straight ¾ mile to stop sign. Bear right onto Main Street. Go through traffic light and make the second right onto Lincoln Avenue-travel 1 mile and the schools are located on the right side of the road.

BethlehemCenter

High School Gym

Take I-70 East to Exit 15 Pay Toll (.75) and drive approx. 10 miles to Fredericktown (Do Not make any turns). Turn right at Blinking Light. Drive approx. 3 miles, Bear right a the Y. Drive approx. 1 mile, High School will be on the left side. Middle school and elementary is on the right side.

Bethlehem Center Football Field

Take Route 70 East towards New Stanton. Take the California exit (toll road) which will run into Route 88. Stay on that road into Fredricktown. As you enter Fredricktown, go through the blinking light, then under the mine conveyer belt. Continue through town until you come to a store/butcher shop on your left, and make a right turn there. Go through the railroad tressel and follow the paw prints to the field.

Blackhawk

Take Route 60N (Airport, Expressway) to Exit 15, Chippewa. You will see a sign indicating last exit before toll road. At the base of the exit is the first of four red lights you will encounter. Turn left here. This is Rte. 51. You will pass under Route 60 and you will come upon two quick traffic lights within 1/3 mile after the left turn. About ½ mile ahead is the fourth light and you need to move to the island lane in the center to turn left. Landmarks in order on your right are: (1) Buy ‘n Fly gas station, (2) Mellon Bank, (3) DeAngelis Donut Shop. You will come to a four-way stop. Proceed ahead. .2 of a is Blackhawk Road (Rte 251 W). Turn left, but be cautious of the traffic. Landmark on corner of Blackhawk Road is Andino Eye Care. Approximately 1 mile from the left turn onto Blackhawk Road, make a right onto McClain Road. The school sits a short distance up the road on the left. If you pass Black Hawk Golf Course, you have gone too far. Enter the first of the two driveways. As you proceed up the driveway, make the first right into the parking lot. Enter through the double doors up the stairs to the gymnasium.

Brentwood

Take the Parkway West toward the FortPitt Tunnels. Right before the tunnels, take the Uniontown Exit (Route 51 South) and continue on Route 51 past the entrance of the Liberty Tunnels. At the light at Marylea Ave. (at the Get Go station) turn left. When you reach the top of the hill, turn left on Brownsville Road. Soon after you turn, Brentwood Middle/High School will be on your right. Go past the school and turn right into the BrentwoodPark entrance. Park in the parking lot. Buses will park onBrownsville Road, on the school side of the street.

Brownsville

Take I-70E to the PA 43 (California) exit37A (toll road). Take US-40E Brownsville exit. After crossing Lane-BaneBridge, make a sharp right BEFORE the gas station. At the stop sign at the end of the ramp, make a left to go into downtown. Go through two stop lights (stay in middle lane for the second light) and continue straight up the hill. (High Street). Travel approx. 1 mile past A Plus gas station until you see the sign for the high school. Make a left at the sigedical center) and continue straight on Brashear Avenue. The school is at the end of the road. Please enter through the doors on the far right.

Football Field

Take I-70 E to the PA 43 (California) exit 37A to the Brownsville Exit. This will take you to Rt. 40 East. You will cross a bridge. Continue through two lights and go straight up the hill, this area is all four lanes. At the top of the hill your side of the road will turn into one lane and you will come to a stop sign. Make a right and stay in the right lane to intersection. At intersection cross straight over. This will put you on 166 South. From this point the field is about 5 miles on the right.

CaliforniaUniversityVolleyball

Take 70 East towards New Stanton. Take the California Exit (75 cent toll road). On this toll road take the California Exit and make a right. Follow the signs for California University. You will go approx. 2 mile down a windy hill to a stop light. There will be a Co-Go’s on you left and an Eckerd Drug Store straight ahead. At this light, make a right (there will be a sign with California University there). Proceed into the University and follow the road to the end. At the end of the road there will be a large parking lot on the left where you will park and you will see the gym, Hamer Hall, in front of you.

CanevinHigh School

Follow the Parkway West inbound towards downtown Pittsburgh. Take the Greentree Exit. At the traffic light turn left onto Greentree Road. Go to the next traffic light (Mansfield Avenue) and turn left. Follow Mansfield Avenue tothe end. This is Novlestown Road (third traffic light). Turn right ontoNoblestown Road. On the left, approximately one quarter mile, you will see the blue and white CanevinCatholicHigh School sign. Turn left at the sign. Theschool is located on the left side as you proceed down the hill.

Football - From the Parkway West Inbound

Take the Greentree Exit. Make a right off the exit onto Greentree Road. Follow Greentree Road three traffic lights to the intersection of McMonagle Road and Greentree Road. There will be a traffic light and you must be in the left turning lane. Follow McMonagle Road to the end. You will be at the intersection of Banksville Road and McMonagel Road. Make a right onto Banksville road and immediately get in the left turning lane and make a left turn onto Dormont Avenue. Banksville Shopping Plaza will be on the left and Dormont Swimming Pool will be on the right. Make the first left onto Dwight Avenue. Go to the first stop sign and make a left onto Hillsdale Avenue and the stadium will be on the left. Due to limited parking facilities, you are advised to park at the Dormont Swimming Pool.

Girls Softball

Take the Greentree Exit and make a left at the light. Make a left at the next light and go down the hill to the next light. At that light make a right onto Popular Street. Follow Popular to the bottom of the hill. You’ll see a Pizza Hut on your left and a Blockbuster Video on your right. Make a right before the Blockbuster Video. After that right, go to the second street and make a left. The field will be on your left.

Canon-McMillan - Football and Track

Follow Route 18 to Hickory. Make a left on Route 50. Go through town and make a right onto 519 (there will be a small convenient store on your right and a video store on your left). Follow 519 to a stop sign in Houston (Patsch’s Garage) and turn left. Go to third light (Bahr Hardware will be on your left) make a right onto Jefferson Avenue. (There is a parking lot on the right as you make the right turn, also there is a sign for Big Mac Stadium). Stadium is on right.

Canon-McMillanHigh School

Follow Route 18 to Hickory. Make a left on Route 50. Go through town and make a right onto 519 (there will be a small convenient store on your right and a video store on your left). Follow 519 to a stop sign in Houston (Patsch’s Garage) and turn left. At the red light make a right and once you cross railroad tracks, make a left onto Boone Ave. Continue up the hill to stop sign (our transportation building will be on your right). Proceed through stop sign and you will make the first left and follow into our high school.

Softball

Follow Route 18 to Hickory. Make a left on Route 50. Go through town and make a right onto Route 519 (there will be a small convenient store on your right and a video store on your left). Follow 519 to a stop sign in Houston (Patsch’s Garage) and turn left. At the red light, turn right (still on 519) and follow this road to a stop sign and turn right (Rt. 519/Eight-Four). You will go under Rt. 19 continue about 1 mile to North Strabane Municipal Building-make a left to the fields.

Carlynton

High School (Var & JV Basketball and Wrestling; Volleyball; Track; and JV Football)

Take 22/30 East into Robinson Township (Route 60). At 2nd stop light (there will be a Mellon Bank on your left) turn right onto Campbells Run Road. Continue on Campbells Run Road for approximately 10 miles, watching for a left turn onto Baldwin Road. Ryan Home Mortgage Inc. will be on your left. The entrance to the high school will be approximately 500 yards on your right, just beyond the offices of American States Insurance Company.

Carnegie Elementary and Honus Wagner Football Stadium (Var and JH Football,7/8 Grade Basketball)

Honus Wagner Stadium is located in the borough of Carnegie. From the Parkway (279), exit at the Carnegie exit staying in the right lane. Proceed straight through the light and make a left at the next stop sign onto Washington Ave. Travel through another stop light and continue for approximately six blocks, watching for Carnegie Elementary School is on your left. The stadium is directly behind the elementary school.

Chioda Field (Softball)

Take the Carnegie exit off the Parkway. At the traffic light go straight. Travel approximately three blocks, and you will approach a “T” intersection/stop sign. Make a left onto Washington Avenue (Route 50). Continue on Washington Avenue approx. 5 blocks through one red light and watch for Franklin Avenue on the left. Turn left on Franklin, go past the Elementary School, up the hill, through the underpass, then make a quick right into the field.

Crafton Athletic Field (Baseball)

The Crafton Athletic field is located in the borough of Crafton. Easiest access is from I-79 North and South. Exit at the Crafton exit onto RT. 60 South. Travel down the hill approximately 1 mile and continue over the Thornburg Bridge. Stay in the right lane and go through light onto Steuben St. At the next light make a left onto Linshaw Ave. The field will be on your left.

Carmichaels

Take Route 79S to the Waynesburg Exit. At the end of the ramp, make a left onto Route 21E. Travel about 11 or 12 miles on this road. At the blinking light just outside of Carmichaels, Route 21 will go to the right towards Masontown. Go straight at this blinking light and travel about ¾ of a mile into Carmichaels. As you enter town, you will see the school on your left. You can go to the traffic light and make a left, or make the left turn before the light.

Center

Follow Route 60 to the Monaca Exit. At the second red light, bear right onto Brodhead Road. Follow Brodhead Road for approximately 1 mile. Look for a sign for the school on the right. Turn left onto Baker Road. The school is at the end of the road.

Chartiers-Houston

CharleroiHigh School

Take 70 East to the Centerville Exit 13 (approx. 20 miles east of Washington). Make a left at the stop sign (Route 481) for approximately 9/10 of a mile to Ekves Service Center. 481 bears left at Ekves, continue on 481 approx. 9/10 of a mile turn right. Go approx. 3/10 of a mile – at the Y bear right. Continue straight approx. one mile to stop sign. Continue through the stop sign for 3/10 of a mile. The School Marquee sits on the left side of the road. The School sits back about 5/10 of a mile

Stadium

From I-70 take Charleroi Exit; turn left – go to second Red light, turn right – Stadium is across tracks (Second Street & McKean).

Baseball and Softball

The baseball and softball fields are located behind the old MontgomeryWardsPlaza in Charleroi; follow directions to stadium, but turn at Fifth Street; the fields are behind Montgomery Wards (softball) and Ponderosa (baseball).

Cornell

Football Field

From the Parkway

Take Route 60 to the Moon Business District. Get off at the new Ewing Road Exit. At the stop sign make a right onto Ewing Road. At the next stop go straight. After a ¼ mile you will pass Moon Park on your right. At the next stop sign make a right onto Corapolis Heights Road. After a ¼ mile, you will come to a “T” in the road. Go Left. This will take you down a hill. At the bottom of the hill bear to the right. This road will take you to the football field, which is about ¼ mile away.

The baseball field is supposed to be right beside the football field.

CornellHigh School

Take Route 60 to the Moon Business District. Get off at the new Ewing Road Exit. At the stop sign make a right onto Ewing Road. At the next stop go straight. After a ¼ mile, you will pass Moon Park on your right. At the next stop sign make a right onto Coraopolis Heights Road. After a ¼ mile you will come to a “T” in the road. Go left. This will take you down a hill. At the bottom of the hill, bear to the right (the football field will be in front of you) continue bearing right and go up the hill. The school is at the top of the hill.

Derry

Take Route 22 East to Monroeville towards Murrysville. When you pass the intersection Rt. 981 in New Alexandria, continue on Rt. 22 4.4 miles to Rt. 982. Turn right onto Rt. 982 South and go 6 miles through New Derry (stop sign) to High School/Middle School Complex at bottom of hill on left.

Elizabeth-Forward

From Route 51 South, cross the ElizabethBridge. Get in the left hand lane because at 1st light after bridge you will make a left at the Giant Eagle. This is Weigle’s Hill Road. Follow road to high school on right.

FortCherry

From Pittsburgh/Parkway West

On Route 22/30, take the McDonald/ Midway Exit (Route 980). At the exit turn right onto Route 980 South. Go seven miles to a stop sign. Turn right onto Noblestown Road. You will cross over an old railroad crossing—bear right. Make a left onto Fort Cherry Road. The school is one mile at the top of the hill on the left. (You can follow signs to Fort Cherry Golf Club, they are right below us.)

Frazier

Take I-70E to the Route 51S (Uniontown Exit). Follow Route 51S to the 1st stop light in Perryopolis and make a left. Follow this road ¼ mile and the school is on the left.
