7th & 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball Booster Club
Register: Please indicate when you register if you would like to be a parent coach. More information will follow once all registrations are received. Registration Deadline: Friday, September 14th
Season: Middle of October – Middle of January
Practice:2 Days per week
Games:Saturdays (will play 6 BAGBL dates- 3 games per Saturday)
Game Dates:November 3/November 17/December 1/December 8/December15/January 12
- Parents of players will be responsible for all costs associated with NWGBL
1)7th & 8th Grade Evaluation Days:
All 7th 8thgrade players who would like to play booster club basketball must attend their assigned evaluation date. Coaches for each grade level should attend as well.
7th grade: Sunday, September 23rd 4:00 – 5:15 PM Foxview Gym
8th grade: Sunday, September 23rd 5:30 – 6:45 PM Foxview Gym
2)7th & 8th Grade Skills Practice Dates:
All 7th – 8th grade players who would like to play booster club basketball are highly encouraged to attend skills practice. Coaches for each grade level are highly encouraged to attend as well. All skills practice dates are at FoxviewGym.
Wednesday, September 12 (7:00 – 8:30 PM) & Tuesday, September 18 (7:00 – 8:30 PM)
3)7th & 8th Grade Tournament Team:
All 7th & 8th grade players who would like to continue playingafter the Booster Club Season may have the opportunity to play on their grade level tournament team. Coaches will communicate with their players to find out what players would like to play on the Tournament Team. Youth Coaches and High School Coaches will be filling out evaluation sheets of each player based on their basketball skill level demonstrated in practice and games. Players will also be evaluated on our 4 Pillars (Attitude, Investment, Accountability, and Effort). Dependent on numbers, there may be cuts.
Tournament Team Season:January –March/Early April
Practice:1-2 Days per week
Games:Saturdays and/or Sundays
Will play in additional tournaments
- Parents of players will be responsible for all costs associated tournament fees
- Early December the 7th & 8th Grade Players will find out who was selected to be on the Tournament Team

De Pere Middle School7th & 8thGrade School Basketball League:
Register:Registration will be through De Pere Middle School.
-All Booster Club players attending DPMS are highly encouraged to sign up.
Middle School season will start the week of January 2nd – about February 12th
Practices normally run Monday – Friday right after school
Games are typically 7th Grade- 4:00 PM 8th Grade- 5:00 PM
- Notre Dame plays in a different school league

Girls’ Youth Basketball Informational Meeting:Tuesday, August 28th 7:30 PM
– De Pere High School Auditorium.
All parents should attend. Agenda to include, basketball opportunities throughout the year, scheduling process and creation process of 7th & 8th grade teams. This year our 7th & 8th grade teams will be participating in the newly created Bay Area Girls’ Basketball League. An overview of this new league will be presented.
Coaches Clinic: Wednesday, October 3rd 7:00 – 8:30 PM Foxview Gym
All youth coaches should attend. Topics to focus on practice planning, individual skill work, transition and half-court offense, man defense.
Redbirds Hoops NightSunday, November 18th 7:00 PMDPHS Gym
All players and families are welcome to participate and celebrate the start of the season.
Girls’ Youth Basketball NightFriday, February 1st6:30 PMDPHS Gym
We would like all De Pere Girls’ Youth Basketball Players to attend for this special night when De Pere plays against Sheboygan South. Youth Players will run on the court before the varsity game and will also have other fun activities for the youth players throughout the night.
