Monitoring:

1. I practice frequent scanning and proximity management within my classroom in order to be aware of what students are doing.

2. I will monitor the hallway before school and during locker breaks.

3. Students will only leave the classroom with a signed agenda for any reason.

4. Hallway and bathrooms will always be monitored before school and randomly throughout the day by all teachers.

CHAMP’s:

Classroom expectations will be taught in the CHAMP’s format (Conversation, Help, Activity, Movement, Participation). At the beginning of each learning experience and during transitions these expectations will be taught/ reviewed visually on PowerPoint and/or verbally.
