Goal: To find an opportunity that provides leverage to my language skills, an opportunity where I can show my interpersonal and communication skills and can employ my command on the German Language. Gave up IT Sector for pursuing German as my career due to my love and passion for the German Language. Have about 3 years of experience as a freelance translator and also as a proof reader and as a technical author. I have translated numerous documents in the technical, medical, financial, legal fields for renowned companies like Volkswagen, Mercedes, Vodafone etc and have been applauded for the precision and quality of the translation work. Have also been awarded the C2 Level Scholarship from Max Mueller Bhawan, Pune to pursue a four weeks course in November 2015 at Göttingen, Germany.

  • Responsible for the design and development of XML editor based upon user input ie.the output file should get generated as per the user input automatically.

Presentations:

Seminar: Self Reconfigurable Robots

Self reconfigurable robots offer a new approach in robotics in which large scale results may be accomplished by the coordinated action of a large number of very small robots. Application: Industrial applications, machine learning.

Senior Project:

Completed undergraduate senior year joint project ‘Entity Automation by Designing an XML Editor’ at SunGard Offshore Services. The aim was to automate the process of generating the code for generation of an entity. The project primarily generates code for standard CRUD (Create/ Read/ Update/ Delete) operations on entities in CSA (Common Service Architecture) framework.

Project Management Skills:

  • Team building
  • Continuous planning and improvement in various cycles of the project lifetime
  • Defining timelines and budgets
  • Conducting status meetings
  • Efficient management of customer requirements and expectations
  • Methodologies/Design: RUP, Waterfall, Incremental model

ACADEMIC PROJECTS:

Master’s Thesis: August 2009–Present

  • Achieving required level of fidelity in data sensing while activating least amount of sensors. The approach is

distributed and localized. Every node assesses quality of measurement of its neighbors and decides whether its participation is necessary or not. Assessment will be based on a trust or AI based model.

Artificial Intelligence coursework: August 2009 - Present

  • Implemented various AI algorithms using Python

Machine learning Project: January 2009 - May 2009

  • Solution Proposed: Thereare many nodes deployed in a region, it is possible to determine the approximate values for these missing data using machine learning concept of deciding the behavior of a node from its past behavior and its data correlation with neighboring nodes for a given condition. Implemented this concept as the project by using the k-nearest neighbor algorithm.

Algorithms project: January 2009 - May 2009

  • Studied the concept of online job scheduling problem in web advertising where theadvertiser extracts information from the useraccessing the web. Proposed an algorithm for the setup where residual jobs do not have deadline for arrival.

GRADUATE COURSE WORK:

  • Advanced Computer Architecture, Advanced Computer Networks , Advanced Operating Systems
  • Advanced Algorithms, Machine learning, Network Security
  • Artificial Intelligence,Masters’s thesis, Independent Study in Sensor networks

PAPER PRESENTATION:

  • Network Security–Conducted a very detailed research on Bundle Security Protocol Specification (DTN Research Group Internet Draft)
  • Participated in technical paper presentation conferences at a national technical event.
  • Namita Sapre, Mohamed Younis and Tim Oates, "Energy Efficient Node

Engagement Strategies for Achieving Data Fidelity in Wireless Sensor

Networks," submitted to the 10th International Workshop on Wireless Local

Networks (WLN'10), Denver, CO, October 2010.
