6th Grade Earth Science – Solar System Project Due: ______, 2018
With this project, you will be creating a model of our solar system. The following elements must be included:
- Name of planet planets
- Order / number from the sun
- Size relative to Earth
- Surface features
- Atmospheric features (temperature should be included here)
- Relative distance from the Sun
- Ability to support life
- Number of moons, or rings
You may create a poster, a PowerPoint presentation, or other graphicmodel, but a 3D model is preferred. Be creative, but be sure to have the important information
(1-8 above) in your project. You will also be presenting your project to the class, no matter what type of project you create. The following rubric will be used for grading:
