6th Grade Band- February 3rd Concert Information
- Arrive at 6:30 PM. For you early birds, please no earlier than 6:00!!
- Your portion of the concert starts at 7:00 PM.
- Wear all black dress clothes. For specifics, refer to the Concert Policy.
- A LOT of students will be performing tonight. Follow these instructions:
- Go to 6th Grade band room when you arrive.
- Go to the instrument storage room and assemble instrument.
- LEAVE CASE IN THE STORAGE ROOM.
- Get music, go to the 2-3 Gym. The JH bands will be using the band room, so do not leave anything laying out in the band room.
- Stay in the 2-3 Gym. Do not wander around.
- The concert will begin at 7:00 in the 2-3 Gym. (The gym right next to the band room).
- When our portion of the concert is over, you are dismissed. You may leave as soon as your equipment is put away (unless you have a sibling in the JH Bands).
- This is a graded performance worth 200 points. If you fall ill or have a family emergency, let Mrs. H know. Other absences are not excused.

JH Bands- February 3rd Concert
- Arrive at 7:00 PM
- Your portion of the concert starts at 7:30 PM.
- Wear all black dress clothes. For specifics refer to the concert policy. Remember, this is part of your grade!
- A LOT of students will be here and a lot of moving parts happening. Follow these instructions:
- 7th Grade- go to big 6th Grade band room, assemble instruments, and put cases around the edge of the room out of the way. This room is where you will warm up.
- 8th Grade- go to small band room, assemble instruments, and leave cases and personal items. Then go to the Intermediate music room. You will warm up in Intermediate music room.
- You will not be able to watch the Sixth Grade Band. Sorry!
- Seventh Grade will go first, then Eighth Grade, then Jazz Band.
- Seventh Grade:
- When we are done, we will file into seats and watch the Eighth Grade and Jazz Band. Do not ask to leave early. Do not ask to go sit with your parents. We will sit together.

- When we are done, we will file into seats and watch Jazz Band. Do not ask to leave early. Do not ask to go sit with your parents. We will sit together.
- When the concert is over, please stick around to help with chairs and equipment. If we all work a little bit it won’t take long to clean up!
