  • NSDA:
Notes for Oklahoma Schools
  • All entry fees will be waived for active Tulsa Debate League schools. Nuisance fees may still apply.
  • The cross-entry rules have changed from last year. Please note this below.
Notes for Out of State Schools
  • Please email the tournament director as soon as you plan to attend.
  • All entry fees will be waived for this year only for out of state schools. Nuisance fees may still apply.
  • Out of state schools may enter Championship Division or Novice Division only.
Notes for All Schools
  • Next year the entry fees for the Championship division will increase by $3 per person in debate events and $2 per person in speech events. This will be met by an upgrade to our awards in that division.
  • Please note which events will use Oklahoma rules and which will use NSDA rules.
  • Entry caps are in effect and they vary from event to event based on entry from last year. In rare cases you may end up with an entry on the waitlist. Once all initial entries are in, waitlist entries will be added. This policy is a failsafe in case the overall entry increases more than expected.
  • Any school with an outstanding balance from last year must pay that balance before entries from that school will be accepted.
Entry Fees
  • $10 per policy debate or public forum entry
  • $5 per Lincoln Douglas entry
  • $6 per duet or duo entry
  • $3 each for all other entries
Nuisance Fees

Judge Entry Procedure
  • DO NOT enter a single person more than once.
  • Each single judge may count toward the requirement for both debate and speech. The invoice generated by tabroom.com will not immediately reflect this. Invoices will be adjusted after the tournament and schools will be notified when they are accurate.
  • If a judge is for debate only, then enter that person in the most appropriate category (CX or LD/PF).
  • If a judge counts toward both debate and speech, then enter that person as a debate judge in the most appropriate category (CX or LD/PF) and write “speech” in the coach notes section for that judge.
  • All non-debate judges should be entered in the speech judge group. If a non-debate judge prefers to judge acting events, then write “acting” in the coach notes section for that judge.
  • Every judge is assumed to be available for all time slots unless otherwise specified. You may specify “No Friday” or “No Saturday” on tabroom.com to indicate when is judge is unavailable. If you have a judge who is unavailable for part of a day, then please email the tournament director with that information.
  • High school students with more than 150 NSDA points are welcome to judge in the novice division. If any of your judges are novice only, then please write “novice only” in the coach notes section for that judge.
Judge Requirements
  • 1 judge per 2 CX entries or portion thereof per day of the event.
  • 1 judge per 4 LD/PF entries or portion thereof per day of the event.
