Cenacle: The Cenacle for the Intercession for Priests is on Monday, October 12th after 9.45a.m. Mass. All are welcome to join in.
Do you live in or near Evanwood, Foxhollow, or Ashfort: Monaleen Parish needs volunteers to distribute envelopes in Evanwood, Foxhollow, or Ashfort. This worthwhile task would take about an hour three times per year. If you want to find out more please speak to Mgr Dan or Fr. Brendan. We will seek distributors for other areas in the coming weeks.
Maranatha Prayer Ministry: Invites you to the Maranatha Healing Retreat on Sunday, October 18th at 2.30p.m. at St. Paul’s Church, Dooradoyle, through the Ministry of Fr. Michael O’Shea and Seamus Byrne, Kilkenny, with beautiful spirit filled praise and worship music and Mass and Confessions included in the Retreat. Tea afterwards. All welcome.
Limerick Mental Health Awareness Week: 4th to 15th October. Many free events – see Information Poster at the back of the Church.
Pilates Classes: Have resumed, Wednesday morning – 9.10a.m. and Wednesday evening – 6 o’clock in the G.A.A. Clubhouse. For further information contact Edel O’Shea on 087-6897735.
Accord: Are providers of Marriage Preparation Courses and Marriage and Relationship Counselling for couples or individuals who are experiencing difficulties in their relationships. They are seeking volunteer ‘Sitters’ who would be present on their premises, at St. Munchin’s College, Corbally, while Counselling is being undertaking with couples, keeping in line with their policies and for insurance purposes. Sitters would be required to attend once a week, times scheduled on a Rota between 4.45p.m. – 8.30p.m. on Tues., Wed or Thurs. evenings. Sitters would provide very valuable assistance to Accord’s work, as without their help, their counselling work would cease. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please contact them on 061-34300.
GAA LOTTO: The Jackpot currently stands at €17,800. There was no winner of last week’s Jackpot of €17,500 which was drawn on 01/10/2015. The numbers drawn were 12, 18, 21 and 24. Lucky dip winners were T Beary, D Cox, M Long and M Hayes.
