III International Music Master Classes "Żywiec 2016"
(08-12 August), is designed for young pianists, violinists and cellists. Participants may submit any solo or chamber repertoire.
Public lectures course will be held at the State School of Music I and II degrees in Żywiec, Sienkiewicza Str., 19. At this school there will be room for individual exercises for participants. Classes will be conducted according to the needs in Polish, English, German, Spanish and Russian.
The cost of accommodation and meals will be paid by participants. At the same time the organizer of the Course can help with booking accommodation in the youth hostel in Żywiec (cost: approx. 30 PLN per day for a person).
Fees for the course:
Participants from Polish:

- 550 PLN for active participation (4 lessons).

- 150 PLN for the participation passive (passive participation in

all classes)

Participants from abroad:

- 220 EURO per participating active (4 lessons).
- 160 EURO for participation passive (passive participation in

all classes)
In the case of people from abroad, please make a payment for the course in the Secretariat schools, not on the bank account.
Participants - violinists and cellists for an additional fee of 50 PLN will be able to use the services of an accompanist.

In the framework of the Third International Music Master Classes in Żywiec there will be 4 concerts accompanying courses: 2 concerts of participants and 2 lecturers concerts. Concerts will take place in the newly opened, beautiful concert hall of the Music School I and II degrees in Żywiec, where you can use the Fazioli concert grand piano.

PROFESSORS:


MIROSŁAW HERBOWSKI
- Polish pianist who was born in Bielsko-Biala, where he was a student of prof. Maria Kubica-Skarbowska. He graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Krakow of prof. Irena Sijałowa-Vogel. He is a laureate of international piano competitions in Rome and Rotterdam. Since 1980 he has performed concerts in Poland and abroad (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Japan, USA). He was a lecturer at the Conservatory of Jakobstad (Finland), the Academy of Music in Copenhagen, since 2000, he again has been teaching piano at the Academy of Music in Krakow.
PAWEŁ RADZIŃSKI
- Polish violinist, graduated from the conservatory Tchaikovsky in Moscow, where he studied in the classes of David Oistrakh and Victor Pikajzen. He was a lecturer at the Conservatory of Jakobstad (Finland). He is currently a professor at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, where he teaches the violin. He has been invited to conduct master classes in many Polish cities (including Łańcut, Żagań) and abroad. He is a member of the jury of many international violin competitions. It is active as a soloist, a chamber man and a conductor.
EWA MIECZNIKOWSKA
- Cellist, was born in Kraków in 1965. At the age of 6 she began learning to play the cello, then she continued her musical education at the music academy in her hometown. During her studies he won the contest for young cellists in Elbląg and Poznań, she also won the chamber music competition in Kalisz. After receiving the award he continues to polish her skills at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester in the classroom of Ralph Kirshbaum.She was awarded the Pierre Fournier. She received a Professional Performance Diploma with honors. In 1990, she became a soloist at l'Orchestre de Principality of Asturias, in 1992, she got a position of a soloist in l'Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Lyon. In 1999 he became a soloist in l'Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Lyon, where she still works.
KAZIMIERZ OLECHOWSKI
- He graduated from the Secondary Music School of Chopin in Krakow, in the violin class of prof. Antoni Cofalik and the Music Academy of Chopin in Warsaw in prof. Zenon Brzewski class. He perfected his skills with such masters as Renato De Barbieri, Irena Dubiska, Wolfgang Marschner, Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Ruggiero Ricci and ZaharBron. He has won many prizes at international violin competitions, including Paganini competition in Genoa (1983), Mozart tournament in Augsburg (1987), JS Bach in Leipzig (1988). In 1990 he won the Grand Prix and Gold Medal at the Festival of Young Soloists in Bordeaux. He performances Concerts not only in many countries in Europe but also in North America, Mexico and Japan. He is invited by symphony orchestras in Poland as a soloist, he has also made many recordings for Polish Radio and Television. He is teaching at Master classes in Poland, France and Mexico. He currently performs as a concertmaster of the orchestra of the National Opera in Lyon where he is also involved in educational work in the local Higher Conservatory of Music.
