My main reason for joining Shell was because of the truly global environment that you get to work in.

One of the most exciting areas of the job is that you get to meet new people every day,

people from all around the world, and having to work with many different cultures, many different backgrounds

and being able to be productive and effective in that working environment as well.

As part of the graduate programme, I’ve gotten the chance to do two different roles in the first three years

that I joined Shell, and it really allowed me to within very short time span see many different areas of the business

and get exposure in different skill-sets as well.

I think my biggest challenges are trying to understand the business and then finding IT solutions for their business problems

and when you’re able to do that in a project that’s most exciting.

I did an International Masters called ICT in Business.

The programme is really a programme that combines a business background and a technical IT background

and trying to build the hybrid skills between Marketing, Finance, Operations and more technical IT skills

I’ve just accepted a new role in which I will be involved in a global IT project

that will change the way in which we handle information in Shell, in the end hoping to enable faster decision making.

who you haven’t spoken before and ask them for help and they’re always willing to spend time with you and
