Linda Muñoz: Thank you for participating in the call today. In order to ensure a common understanding of the purpose of this RFP process, I want to provide a brief overview of Moffitt’s end goal in initiating the RFP.
As the primary outcomes of the RFP, Moffitt is seeking a Benefits Administration system which:
- EMPLOYEE FACING PLATFORM - is user friendly, intuitive and accessible via currently available technology, for new hire and open enrollment elections, QLE initiation and benefits information/education.
- ADMINISTRATOR FACING PLATFORM – is user friendly, intuitive and efficient for the purpose of enrollment & eligibility management. Provides a robust reporting capability, including standard and ad hoc reports.
- FLEXIBILITY – can meet the needs of a dynamic and complex organization’s benefits program requirements, including the ability to support custom benefit programs at the employee classification level.
- COMPLIANCE – the ability to manage the mandated processes for benefits compliance, such as imputed income calculations, 30-hr eligibility management and generation of forms 1095c & 1094c.
- TECHNOLOGY & DATA – the ability to interface accurately and timely with both the Lawson Payroll system and the approximately 10 – 12 benefits vendors for benefits enrollment and eligibility purposes.
At this time, we are not looking for a benefits broker or consultant or other benefits supportive services.
