Exhibit Opening Reception on December 11th from 5 to 8pm= 115

NEW BUSINESS:

Annual Appeal was sent out to e-list on Monday.

Annual Volunteer Luncheon at noon on January 13th w/ Docent Training for new exhibit is at 10am prior

Soup N’ Bowl March 6th

Pot Throw is at the college ceramic department on January 30th from 3 to 6pm. We need to get dignitaries invited and to the event.

Need to obtain sponsors.

Advisory Board Terms: Clyde Johnston and Jenny McDowell’s terms expire. Clyde is not continuing. Jenny is. Thank you for all of your excellent help, Clyde. Thank you for continuing, Jenny! That brings our number of Advisory Board Members to 8 of a possible 11.

Terms that expire at the end of 2015 include Linda Sappington and Terrance White.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the St. George Art Museum is to educate all visitors through quality exhibitions from all periods, cultures, and media, as well as to collect, conserve, inventory, exhibit and interpret art and artifacts from Utah and the West.
