The Lancaster YMCA "Stingray" Swim Team (LYST)is a YMCA and USA swim team that averages morethan 100 swimmers per year. This championship winning swim team has swimmers from all over the Fairfield County as far North as Canal Winchester and as far South as Logan, and of course Lancaster. The swimmersrange in age from as young as 6 years to as old as 21 years. Our team strives to provide a qualityexperience that teaches the swimmers sportsmanship, commitment, work ethic, and lifelong skills tokeep them healthy and active. We also promote the principles of the YMCA competition and core values.
The LYST swim team is a nonprofit organization that is dependent on sponsorships such as yours to keep this vital program thriving. The proceeds from our sponsorswill be used to enhance the LYST Stingrays Team Programs, continue to support the Wendel Pool Facilities and the Lancaster High School Swim Team. In the past, these proceeds have allowed the program to provide scholarships to swimmers needing assistance, help fund expenses for national swim meets, fund training for our coaches, as well as providing new equipmentnecessary for our swim meets.
We are currently seeking sponsorship from area businesses such as yours that would like to help this worthy cause. Attached you will find the levels of sponsorship that areavailable to you. You'll notice that the benefits of being a team sponsor continue throughout the seasonand have a large focus at our LYST Invitational Swim Meet which will be held November3rd and 4th, 2012. ThisInvitational was attended by over 800 swimmers last year from Ohio and West Virginia, and we hope to increase that number thisyear. In addition we are offering advertising options with the various levels.
