2.  To create an environmentally conscious and sustainable world and society, focusing our energy usage on renewable resources is Essential. According to Chiras (2013), currently, “On average, they (people) receive about 85% of their energy from fossil fuels, 5% from nuclear power, a type of nonrenewable energy, and 10% from renewable such as solar and wind energy, although the renewable energy contribution is growing rapidly in many countries”

Our consumption, or energy footprint, goes hand in hand with climate change issues. 12 December 2015 ــــJournal Entry 17: Recognizing Your Opposition

Opposing views in my argument is the cost is very high for energy solar. Also the solar panels are relatively very expensive mainly due to the material cost. Weather cloudy, rainy conditions, can interfere in the quantity of sunlight reaching the solar panels. This in turn affects the amount of energy and strength. What about the time when there is no sunlight? How is solar energy production at night? Of course it can’t be produced at night. It’s valuable to include the opposition in my essay because I want to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of solar energy, and we need to look at the possibility of using solar energy from the perspective of industrial needs, as well as the requirements of the house.

Reflect: In my opinion, Dr. Pachauri’s opposing viewpoint Strengthen Hamilton’s argument because reducing consumption and give the meat for one day a week reduces carbon footprint. And it will reflect positively on the Earth's environment, which will lead to the reduction quantities of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere. Also the chemicals added to the agricultural crops affect to affect greenhouse gases.
