Our courses are hands-on workshops. Tuition is through practical exercises focusing on key skills required for documentary and factual television production. Courses are ideal for Researchers and AP’s looking to develop their directing/shooting skills but also relevant to Web producers and Graphics companies looking to explore digital film production techniques. Course tutors:Chris Evans is a highly successful freelance lighting cameraman, working in documentary and factual television. Credits include Property Ladder, Watchdog, Location Location Location, Gardeners’ World, Time Team, Property Developing Abroad, Fat Doctor, Your Money or Your Life & Cruises from Hell.

Chris has been training filmmakers for the last five years, supplying bespoke camera training to companies including: Sky Broadcasting, Big Wave Productions, Factual Films, JDP and many grateful freelancers in the television industry.

Ged Maguire is an award-winning producer/director working in factuals, documentary and drama production. Credits include This Morning, The Clothes Show, The Trench and Reportage, The Bill, Casualty, Coronation Street, Family Affairs, London’s Burning and MIT - Murder Investigation Team. Short films include Rhubarb and Roses, financed by the UK Film Council. In April 2008 he won an international IVCA award.Ged has taught workshops on digital film production at the Encounters Short Film Festival and lectured in Content Creation and digital film and television production at RavensbourneCollege, a Skillset Approved Academy of Excellence.
