Outcome 1

Describe features of positive workplace relationships.

Performance criteria

1.1Three different behaviours are described that contribute to reliability in terms of general employer requirements.

Rangebehaviours may include but are not limited to –attendance, personal presentation, attention to workplace requirements, appropriate communication.

1.2Three different attitudes are described in terms of how they contribute to positive working relationships.

Rangeattitudes may include but are not limited to – positive interaction with co-workers and supervisors, demonstrating willingness to learn, working as a team member.

Outcome 2

Describe features that contribute to the performance of workplace duties.

Performance criteria

2.1Three behaviours are described in terms of how they contribute to the performance of workplace duties.

Rangebehaviours may include but are not limited to – asking questions to obtain information and to clarify task requirements, identifying and using appropriate channels and procedures for communication, following health and safety requirements.

2.2Three attitudes are described in terms of how they contribute to the performance of workplace duties.

Rangeattitudes may include but are not limited to – courtesy, helpfulness, adaptability, ability to take direction and accept constructive criticism.

Outcome 3

Describe factors of an employment relationship.

Performance criteria

3.1Factors are described that are fundamental to an employee's understanding of the employment relationship.

Rangefactors include but are not limited to –rights and obligations for both parties; good faith, fairness, and respect; right to employee representation; employment legislation.
