2013 - Estimator/Sales–A&A Asphalt
As an estimator my work duties include estimating Asphalt paving jobs and selling home and business owners our services.I am responsible for writing up contracts and collecting downpayments. Future duties will include Health and safety officer between workers and management.
2008 - 2011 Eastern Ontario Territory Manager - Can-Save
As the Territory Manager for Eastern Ontario I was responsible for managing current accounts, relationship building and developing new business within my territory. I conducted regular sales calls and product training for store staff. Intel reports were submitted weekly with competitive information. I worked area trade shows when required and representing over 40 major manufacturers from Canada and the United States in the building materials industry. These included Jeld-Wen,Typar, Grace, Bakor, Lomanco, and Therma Tru to name a few. I made purchase recommendations to my customers on product lines to help grow their business while increasing their margins. Account sales $5-6 million annually.
2002 – 2008Eastern Ontario Sales Representative - Canroof Corp.
As the Rep for Eastern Ontario I was responsible for managing existing accounts as well as developing new business within the territory. Regular sales calls on distributors, retailers and contractors were also my responsibility. I kept my customers up to date with product information, manufacturing schedules and pricing. I was responsible for customer complaints such as defective material, warranty site reports and photographs for claims in the field. I was required to help my customers with major purchasing bookings to maintain profit margins over the course of the year. Training of store staff was required when new products lines were introduced or new hiring. Account sales $5.5 million annually. During IKO/CRC strike worked production Tar melt water pits for 6 weeks.
2001 – 2002 Computer Consultant/Manager - MDG Computers
As a computer consultant, I was responsible for conferring with my clients to discuss what their personal or Business needs were in building a custom built computer for them. In doing so we determined what their present and future needs might be with respect to their purchase. I was also responsible for billing for employee purchase plans with Major Hospitals and institutions in the area. I handled large cash and financial institution transactions. I was promoted to sales Manager responsible for sales training staff of 6 customer service complaints, purchasing and billing.
1994 – 2001 Account Representative - American Standard
As an Account Representative for American Standard, I was responsible for the execution of programs and promotions at both the Segment and Distributor level which focused on ensuring efficient operations as per the Company service mandate. To be more specific, the principal responsibilities would be: implementation of promotions and programs (both general and segment specific). I was the communication link for pricing, product, and policy changes and assisted in determining merchandising requirements to increase awareness and create demand .I relayed competitive information regarding price and products to management. Ensured displays at all levels were kept current, clean, correctly signed and properly presented. With assistance of the Management team, we worked on developing sales and profit targets. Regular calls on Segment and Distributor staff regarding operational issues. Execution of training programs at all levels.
1989 – 1991 Stores\Production - U.T.D.C. (Bombardier)
Military Truck Building Shipper/Receiver responsible for the initial setup and installation of stores. Set up Kan Ban system and assisted with purchasing requirements from distributors and manufacturers. I received, processed and recorded all invoices, processed requisition forms for assembly line parts and inputting of computer data for inventory control. Transferred to production for last year of employment. Responsible for line production of 10 ton military vehicles.

Store Manager Responsible for the supervision of staff(5) , work schedules , purchasing, store opening and closing, training ,hiring terminations , banking, and the solving of customer complaints .
