40 YEARS OF TYROLIT HYDROSTRESS

The Swiss company Hydrostress, which belongs to the TYROLIT Group, has successfully been "building the future" since 1974 – a reason to celebrate.

Schwaz in Tyrol, Austria, 23 May 2014: 40 years of TYROLIT HYDROSTRESS in Pfäffikon, Switzerland. To celebrate this occasion in a fitting manner, the Management of the TYROLIT Group invited everyone to the anniversary celebration in Pfäffikon, Switzerland The day's diverse programme of events commenced on the morning of 22 May 2014 and transported employees, partners and long-time friends to locations in the region with special meaning for the company. Subsequently, the festivities continued into the evening in a gala event attended by all.

Anniversary provides grounds for celebration

40 years of successful market standing was the occasion for an anniversary celebration. Fritz Korradi (Member of the Executive Board), Mader Klaus (Executive Vice President, Finance & Administration), Alfred Landl (Head of Division Construction) and Christian Koidl (Head of Corporate Communication) clearly enjoyed the event. Nick Harry (Business Unit Manager, TYROLIT Hydrostress) opened the evening's festivities with a typically rousing speech about times past, decisive moments, innovations and successfully implemented projects. "The high quality standards for our products, our experienced on-site application engineers and our strong focus on service have made TYROLIT a reliable partner for countless construction projects over the years," Alfred Landl declared with satisfaction.

History and milestones of TYROLIT Hydrostress

TYROLIT Hydrostress is a company of the TYROLIT Group based in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, and is responsible in the Group for the development, production and sale of machines for cutting concrete, special controlled demolition projects and other special applications. Tools "made by TYROLIT" grind the surfaces of motorways to reduce noise, machine airport runways to reduce the risk of skidding, and cut doors and windows in concrete walls.

TYROLIT Hydrostress began its existence as a machine construction engineers' office owned by Hans Bieri and was entered in the commercial register of the canton of Zurich in 1974. Since 2001, TYROLIT Hydrostress has belonged to the global TYROLIT Group. In 1983, it was the world's first company to launch a fully hydraulic wall saw. Another milestone in the company's history was the market launch of the world's first fully automated small wall saw in 1998. In addition, the company's current workforce of 52 is responsible for numerous patent applications and, together with partners and customers, has been "building the future" for 40 years.
