1.  To find out what day of the week your month starts on for the 2016-2017 school year, consult your agenda book.

2.  Include your name.

3.  Include the month and the season on your calendar page. Check spelling and accents!

4.  Make sure your calendar is only on one page.

5.  Backgrounds do not print on Word. You can add color by clicking inside the table, then clicking on TableàTable PropertiesàBorders and Shading. From there you can adjust the color of the table or individual cells. You can also experiment with clipart, font color, and font type to make your calendar page as visually appealing as possible. Add as much extra information as you can. If you want to know a holiday that is not listed below, you can ask meand I will include it in the directions.
